| Spatial Technologies Updates regarding COVID-19|
Our operations, like many around the world, have been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, and the actions taken to reduce its global spread.
Spatial Technologies fully supports the actions taken by our local health authorities. The safety and health of our employees, clients, friends, family and community is our biggest priority.
While we are currently open for business, we have taken proactive measures to ensure the safety of our frontline workers, clients, partners and families. While this is the current situation,we encourage you to confirm office locations are open via phone and accepting customers before visiting as the situation is dynamic.
To ensure our frontline staff are protected, we have enacted additional sanitation, handling, storage and cleaning protocols for any shipment received or sent out.
At this time, customers can visit, and we will practice appropriate social distancing. Any client that has been out of the country in the last 14 days, not feeling well, or have had interactions with any person that has been tested positive for COVID-19 are asked to find another mechanism to connect with us rather than visiting our offices. This follows Health Canada directives regarding hygiene, travel and self-quarantine, self-monitor situations.
Service Repairs and Rentals
For any incoming instruments for rental return or repairs we ask that you ring the courier door at the rear of our buildings so that we can appropriately receive, quarantine and clean the equipment before it enters our service department.
You can also contact any of the Spatial Technologies offices to make alternative arrangements. We want to do our best to continue to serve our customers while also protecting our clients and our staff.
Any staff that can work remotely will do so to reduce any spread. We will take advantage of remote work technology, and virtual demo/support technology to connect with our colleagues and clients to assist in their business continuity. We will not visit any site, work or business unless absolutely necessary and all parties agree and adhere to Health Canada recommendations.
